Walid Abukhaled is the “President and CEO (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) for General Electric ( based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining General Electric, Walid was the Director of Portfolio Management & Chairman of BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Operations Board. He had the responsibility for managing strategic investments across the entire Company’s portfolio of companies in Saudi Arabia. In addition to this role, Walid occupied the following positions: Chairman of the Board, Aircraft Accessories and Components Company, Jeddah - Board Director, Advance Electronics Company, Riyadh - Board Director, International Systems Engineering, Riyadh. Walid began his career in 1990 as a graduate engineer. He has held a variety of technical support, field operations, public relations and communications, sales and marketing, strategy and leadership positions within the Middle East and Europe. He is considered one of the most respected new generations of business leaders in the Middle East. In addition to various TV interviews, many articles were published in national and international newspapers acknowledging Walid’s achievements in working for a global company as a leading Saudi professional.
