Mr. Julian Webb
Managing Director

Julian Webb is the Managing Director of CREEDA Projects Ltd, an Australian consulting company, which supports and advises public and private sector clients on small business and business incubation development. He is contracted to The World Bank infoDev Program as its Asia Pacific Region Program Facilitator and infoDev’s Incubator Management Training Program Master Trainer. Mr Webb is a Founding Director of Business Innovation and Incubation Australia Inc, a Steering Committee Member of the Asia Pacific Incubation Network (APIN) and a Director of the European-based Science Park and Innovation Centers Expert Group (SPICE Group).

He has been a pioneer and leader in the small business development and business incubation industries since the 1980s. He ran award winning business incubators and business advisory services for many years in Australia. Now, he expresses his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship through his work with the infoDev Program, as a director of the Australian incubation industry association, by leading the international consulting team for the BADIR technology incubation program in Saudi Arabia and as an independent consultant helping incubators in many countries. Although the most of his work is in Asia, the Pacific, Middle East and Caribbean, he has worked with incubators in many countries including: Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Mongolia, Palestine, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Dominica, St Vincent, St Lucia, Jamaica, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Nigeria, Mozambique, South Africa and Ghana.

His special interests in the incubation industry are for peer learning through regional and national networks, incubator manager training, monitoring and evaluation, government policy development, climate change innovation centers, agri-business incubation, ICT incubation and how to adapt incubation to different cultures, countries and purposes.
