Lilac A. Al-Safadi, the author of over 25 published papers. She is an associate professor at the College of Computer and Information Sciences in King Saud University and holds a doctorate in computer science from the University of Wollongong in Australia. Since 2009, she chairs the Department of Information Technology in King Saudi University. In 2008, Lilac was assigned the director of the Entrepreneurship Center in the Science & Medical Studies Divisions of King Saud University. In 2010, she was assigned the director of the Ladies Technology Incubators, responsible for promoting entrepreneurship and turning knowledge into viable technology-based companies. In 2004, Lilac has joined LS Consultancy in the capacity of Business Development consultant in Saudi Arabia. Prior of taking this position, Dr. Al-Safadi was the Founder of the Women Division and Project Manager, Digital Data Solutions/Riyadh, KSA. Currently, she is a member of the SME Development Committee in Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
